Are you seriously suggesting that Vincent Kompany; as consistant a centre-half as their is in the Premier League, wouldn't be an improvement on Mike Williamson? You honestly wouldn't take David Silva; probably our best player at Newcastle and generally of late, a World Cup winner courted by Real Madrid and Barcelona for years, over Wayne Routledge? Yaya Toure; fast becoming a real driving force for City, a Champions League and La Liga winner, not as good as Jonas? What do they put in the water in the North-East?!? Fair play for being optimistic, but you shouldn't resort to publically embarrassing yourself and your fellow supporters. City are near to the top of the league because they have top drawer players. Newcastle (much as i like them, as as much as i've been impressed with Enrique and Tiote occasionally this season) are one player (Carroll) off being in a relegation battle.
