At the moment it's one step forward two steps back. Mariner is very positive in his interviews but his formations and style of play is exactly the opposite, it's almost as though Sturrock is still in charge. The pitch was bad but the game was crying out for Noone and Wright-Phillips. We are losing so what does Mariner do? He brings on a right back and a defensive midfielder! Crazy tactics! We need wins and fast!
