He has not really earned a call up since he arrived at Marseille ( Evra is still nį1) but that is typical of French national team selections under Deschamps which are very 'political' to say the least. Having said that I agree with you Pride of Lions, Amavi is a quality player with a promising future - as long as he avoids spending too much time in night clubs !. Still do not really understand the transfer, I thought it was a loan with both parties obliged to make it permanent. In legal terms surely that means that the transfer is already acted ?
